Portraits

When having your portrait taken (individually, as a family, for work), your chief concern is how you look. People get understandably nervous and uneasy when a camera is pointed at them. It’s a vulnerable thing to allow a fraction of a second of your life to be immortalized in time for however long that image may last. But that’s the exciting part!

In my sessions with portrait and headshot clients, the most important thing to me is authenticity. If you’re not someone who normally smiles, I’m not going to force you to smile. That’s not you. If you’re a bit awkward and goofy, I’m not going to make you sit placidly on a stool and give me a dead smile. That’s not who you are. There is depth and beauty to each of us, and we will capture that aspect of you, smile or not.

Or, maybe you just need some headshots taken? I do those without the pretentiousness, as well.
